That’s not really an official tagline or phrase used by Kia; however, it definitely rings true. Kia has been at the forefront of producing some of the world’s greatest automobiles in the past few years. They haven’t made their mark by being the fastest or most luxurious. No, they’ve done it by being the smartest.

And to celebrate those smarts we will showcase a Kia Optima Hybrid this Saturday and Sunday (April 21-22) at Fair Park for Earth Day! 

See, the Optima Hybrid is an eco-friendly and cost-effective way of getting from one place to another. Producing 35 MPG in the city and 40 on the highway means you’re burning less fuel than the average family sedan. All the while, Kia is known for producing some of the lowest emissions in the auto industry. It’s a win for your wallet. It’s a win for Mother Earth.

On September 12, 2011 Guiness awarded Kia with the World Record for fuel economy after achieving 64.55 MPG over 7,899 miles in an Optima Hybrid! It took a 14 days and only 5.5 tanks of gas to navigate 48 states during the challenge. If the road trip had been completed today, with the national average of gas at $3.88, it would have only cost $367.05 total. That’s a rather fair price in order to see a significant portion of the globe.

This is no singular achievement either. Kia boasts six different models that get more than 30 MPG each. Two of which are SUVs!

So, this weekend, come out to celebrate Earth Day and take a good look at the Kia Optima Hybrid. You might as well familiarize yourself with the beginnings of a bright future from the automobile industry, led by the engineering and innovation of Kia. Oh, and remember to bring your camera. After all, you will be in the presence of a World Record holder ;)

Kia experienced great growth in 2011, and we are already seeing dramatic increases in service and showroom traffic now in 2012. *Non-commission
*$2,500 base salary plus generous monthly bonuses

*College degree in related field
*Valid drivers license
*Must be able to work 40-45 hours a week 
*evening and weekend availability 
*Experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality industry a plus
*Must be comfortable interfacing with the public, friendly, motivated, and eager to learn

Remember that one time during the Holidays you decided 2012 was going to be "your" year because you wanted to be a "really good human being"? You said you wanted to be more generous and kind to people. Even mentioned something about donating money... No? You don't remember? Well, there are about 50-60 people that specifically remember your garbled rant mingled with philosophical pontification. We can call each one of'em if you don't believe us. Yeah, you really said all that stuff.

Seriously...you don't remember? Welp, okay. How about this, you don't have to donate any money yourself, we'll take of that part, yeah? All you have to do is show up to Resistol Arena on January 28 and test drive a Kia. For every Kia that is taken out for a test drive on that day Southwest Kia will donate $10 to the American Red Cross. How awesome is that?
